I read so many new and amazing books this year, and by so many authors I had never read before, or even heard of! These are some of my absolute favorites, who’ve written some of my new absolute favorite books. The prompt said I could pick 10, yet somehow I only managed 9. There are about 2 weeks left in the year, maybe I’ve yet to discover the tenth…..

I feel like with every Tuesday when I make these lists, something is revealed to me. This week I realized that I like my side characters very, very loyal, the males tenderhearted and the ladies fierce and sassy (and fashionistas, apparently). This list was surprisingly easy to make, but I’m sure some character from another book I didn’t even think of will occur to me later and I’ll curse myself, but for now these are some of my all time fave side characters, not in any particular order.

Okay, this was a lot harder than I expected. I think I need to read more fantasy books that are set in happier places. However, now that I’ve got all my choices laid out, I think they all represent rather different parts of me, interestingly enough.
